Municipal water treatment solutions

Municipalities are facing significant challenges in providing clean potable water.

The growing population is putting increasing strain on ageing infrastructure.

Tightening regulations coupled with the decrease in available fresh water supplies are raising the pressure to reuse and recycle.

Culligan’s modular water treatment systems offer an affordable, modular, reliable and fast-to-market solution to these problems.

Multimedia filtration

For more than 75 years, Culligan has pioneered pressure tank filtration and has evolved it using a variety of media to provide the best drinking water filtration solutions for municipalities around the world.

Ideal for problematic waters – the various media combinations allow the removal of arsenic, iron, manganese, ammonium, turbidity and other contaminants.

Up to 60% smaller than conventional filter systems. The higher filtration rate used in Culligan systems allow them to take up to 60% less space than gravity filters.

Designed for the long term – Culligan’s modular design allows for the widest range of flow rates and easier future upgrades and expansion systems.

It is ideal for remote locations or communicates where it may not be economical to build an extensive network of pipes connecting the area to the central treatment plant.
