GRUNDFOS REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER SYSTEMS

Increasing efficiency with reverse osmosis systems

Using the latest high-efficiency membrane technology, coupled with reliable, proven designs, Grundfos can provide you with an RO system that is delivered quickly and installed even faster. Grundfos (formerly Culligan) has decades of experience and thousands of RO installations worldwide.

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (usually abbreviated RO) exploits the ability of semi permeable membranes to separate water from the substances dissolved in it. By applying pressure, water can be forced through the membrane: pure water (permeate) is well separated from water containing salts (reject). The osmotic membrane, which achieves the highest level of filtration, acts as a barrier not only to salts and inorganic substances but also to organic substances with molecular weights greater than 100 daltons: it therefore also provides excellent protection against micro-pollutants, pesticides, pyrogens, viruses and bacteria. Reverse osmosis is a physical process that does not require the use of regenerating chemicals. Reverse osmosis technology offers total security thanks to its versatility, excellent performance and ease of use.

Reverse osmosis products

IW EVO RO systems

The standard flow rate is 5-40 m³/h (flow rates higher than 40 m³/h on request).

The Evo RO series is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding industrial and municipal applications.

7 models are available to meet flow requirements from 5 to 40 m³/hour (22 to 176 GPM) and are capable of treating up to 3000 ppm TDS salinity.

The innovative modular and standardized design offers the highest quality production, fast delivery times and competitive prices.

The units are mounted on a metal frame for quick and easy installation and are fully configurable with a wide range of optional accessories.

SW RO systems – Sea water desalination systems

The standard flow rate is 4-40 m³/h (flow rates higher than 40 m³/h on request).

The seawater desalination system offers a cost-effective and reliable solution.

8 models are available to meet flow requirements from 4 to 40 m³/h and can handle up to 45000 ppm TDS salinity.

For higher power requirements, several units can be connected thanks to the modular design.

The units are mounted on a metal frame for quick and easy installation and are fully configurable with a wide range of optional accessories.

MFP RO systems

Flow rate 0,4 - 3,6 m3/h

Using the highest quality components and construction methods, the MFP reverse osmosis unit is ideal for drinking water and industrial processes in any location.

The system is modular and compact and designed with reliability and long life in mind. The MFP RO is mounted on a steel frame with no welded parts, guaranteed against corrosion.

The system is controlled by an electronic control panel that monitors all operating conditions and displays flow, conductivity and other operating parameters.

AC Compact Pro and Lab RO systems

Flow rate 80-300 l/h

The AC Compact Pro series line consists of reverse osmosis systems designed to provide pressurised water with a very low salt content.

The AC Compact Lab series line consists of reverse osmosis systems, complete with demineralisation and ultre-filtration units, designed to provide pressurised grade 3 deionised water, in compliance with UNI/EN 3696/1996.

It is equipped with a touchscreen electronic control unit that can receive and display all necessary information and alarm data.
