Grundfos (formerly Culligan) has one of the widest ranges of filtration technologies available on the market. The equipment can be used as a stand-alone unit or as part of a system.
Self-cleaning filters are a highly flexible, versatile and economical solution to small-scale water filtration problems. They are commonly used as a barrier against suspended solids to protect sensitive equipment. The Self-cleaning filters eliminate the need to replace filter cartridges by means of a backwashing system, which can be fully automatic or semi-automatic depending on the model. Filtration is possible from 50 to 500 μm up to a maximum flow rate of 52 m³/hour
Self-cleaning filters are available with ¾”, 1”, 1 ½”, and 2” threaded connections and are capable of providing flow rates of 1.5 to 17.4 m³/h.
For applications with higher capacity (flow rate of 27–40 m³/h), we recommend flanged self-cleaning filters with DN 65–80 fittings.
Mechanical cartridge filtration is a robust and economical solution for small-scale water filtration. Ideal as protective pre-filtration for expensive water treatment systems and equipment.
With this highly versatile modular system, filters can be combined in multiple configurations (parallel, series, series-parallel, etc.) to suit any application.
It uses a strainer filter at the inlet, followed by a choice of elements ranging from 80 micron to 1 micron filtration level. Filter cartridges are available in food-grade polypropylene for removal of suspended solids, crystal phosphate cartridges for corrosion prevention and activated carbon cartridges for absorption of organic matter and colour removal.
It uses a quick-release clamp system for fast replacement of filter cartridges, housed in an AISI 316 stainless steel enclosure with 1.5", 2.5" and 3" UNI 338 threaded inlet and outlet connections. The FGX3 series filters are capable of handling flows up to 45 m³/h, are available with a wide range of filtration levels (1 - 5 - 20 microns) and are flexible enough to allow multiple cartridge lengths to be installed. The system is supplied with a tripod support for easy floor installation.
Grundfos (formerly Culligan) uses pressure filtration technology and innovative filter media solutions to provide the best water filtration.
To ensure the highest level of quality, we carry out most of the tank welding and assembly of our larger filtration systems at our headquarters in Italy. With successful installations around the world, you can trust Grundfos to deliver a reliable, long-lasting water filtration system that meets your water challenges every time.

Dinamikus szeparátorok
Dynamic separators are filters designed to remove suspended solids (e.g. sand) from water. The removal capacity is 98% of all particles having a size larger than 80 microns and a specific weight greater than 1 kg/dm³. The dynamic separator is so named because it uses the centrifugal motion of water to separate solids from liquid. Thus the device has no mechanical moving parts, which almost completely eliminates operating and maintenance costs.
The water flows tangentially in at the top of the unit, through internal slots into the chamber, where the solids are separated from the water. The water, which is accelerated and forced into a rotating motion, flows down this chamber, the centrifugal force resulting in the separation of the higher specific gravity solids. These solids fall under gravity and accumulate in the collection chamber.
The solids accumulating in the collection chamber may be discharged continuously or intermittently (in manual or automatic mode) (Discharge valve not included.) Discharge may be carried out while the apparatus is operating without affecting the performance.
